Overview

FinanceAI is a personal finance app I developed for web and mobile. It brings together income, expenses, budgets, savings goals, scheduled payments, and loans. It uses artificial intelligence to read bank statements, analyze spending habits, and answer questions about each user’s money.

The challenge

Most people do not know exactly how much they can spend today without putting their rent, bills, or goals at risk. Finance apps often require users to record everything manually and show charts that do not tell them what to do.

The goal was to build a tool that could answer specific questions, such as how much money I really have available or whether I can afford a purchase, while minimizing the work required to record transactions.

The solution

I built the application with Laravel 12, Vue 3, Inertia, and TypeScript. It can be installed as a PWA and packaged for Android and iOS:
